The former Manchester United manager was seemingly unimpressed by the League Cup semi-final second leg at the Etihad Stadium which saw Everton throw away a 3-1 aggregate lead

Sir Alex Ferguson caught yawning watching Man City
Sir Alex Ferguson went behind enemy lines on Wednesday night and did not look to be overly impressed after he was caught yawning during Manchester City’s League Cup semi-final win over Everton.

The former United boss is renowned for being a hard man to please and even the sight of two goals in the opening 24 minutes was apparently not enough to enthuse the 74-year-old.

Extra Time could be forgiven for thinking such a flurry of goalscoring activity would represent a rare treat for Ferguson, especially considering the 11 successive goalless opening periods fans at Old Trafford have been forced to endure in recent months. While United continue to toil, their noisy neighbours are now preparing for a trip to Wembley after goals from Fernandinho, Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero helped overturn a first-leg deficit to set up a final against Liverpool next month.
