Is the Argentine striker returning just in time to turn the title race in Manchester City's favour?

Black is Bold.
Perhaps when the tumultuous and dramatic 2015-16 Premier League season comes to an end, the weekend of January 16 will be seen as a turning point.
It was the day when Manchester City 's star man shone, while the key individuals for the Citizens' title rivals—Leicester City and Arsenal—either faded or missed out.
Admittedly, for Claudio Ranieri's Foxes, Jamie Vardy is still feeling his way back to full fitness, while Riyad Mahrez was guilty of being too casual with a penalty kick which would have given the East Midlanders a 2-0 advantage over doomed Aston Villa.

Aguero's stats so far this season...

As it was, the Algerian's spot kick was saved, and the Villains, quick to make the most of a sliver of opportunity, equalised through Rudy Gestede.
Arsenal, without Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, were shorn of ideas and invention away at nemeses Stoke City, and while some Gunners fans will be chuffed with a point at the brutish Britannia Stadium, the north London heavyweights need their key men back as soon as possible.
City, meanwhile, look to be finding top gear just when it matters most.
They have been a different side with and without Aguero so far this season, with Wilfried Bony—his primary understudy—yet to truly convince as the leading man for the would-be title contenders.
With Kun back leading the line, with Kelechi Iheanacho in support, and the pair fuelled by the likes of David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne, the Citizens were far too much for Alan Pardew and poor Palace.

Aguero vs. Palace | In numbers

They took 17 shots to Palace's nine, but there wasn't too much to separate the two sides apart from that, excluding, of course, Aguero, who is a difference-maker if ever there was one.
After Fabian Delph had given the home side the lead, Aguero struck a delightful second following an assist from Iheanacho.
He made it 3-0 in the 68th minute, before playing in Silva—in a delicious moment of interplay—to finish off the rout inside the last 10.
With Aguero back on board, City suddenly looked like the complete package, as menacing and as mesmerising as ever.
This title race will go down to the wire, and Aguero demonstrated once again why he might be the decisive factor in the 15-16 campaign.
